Word Suggestions
For English and Spanish crosswords, Crossword Studio includes a word suggestion engine to help you create your crosswords.
To use it, select a placement in your grid and then select the Word Suggestions tab on the right side. Crossword Studio lists of compatible word placements - double click on the desired placement to use.
The Lookup Button will launch the MacOS Dictionary to enable you to get the definition of a word, as well as
information about the word (which is helpful for thinking up clues). Note you must the correct language
installed
on MacOS in order for the correct dictionary to load.
Use the filter to see words containing certain letters. Use a question mark (?) as a wildcard catch-all letter.
